WEEKLY MEETINGS

  • Sunday Services: 10:30am -12:30pm on Zoom & 11:30am -12:30pm Facebook Live. Believers come to fellowship together in God’s presence, not forsaking the fellowship of the brethren. (Romans 12:2).

Leaders are encouraged to pray in turns, which has boosted self-esteem and increased confidence in themselves.
  • Choir Rehearsals are held on Saturdays 3pm-5pm. The Psalmist said, ‘O ye come let us sing unto the Lord, make a joyful song to the rock of our salvation; Praise ye the Lord, sing unto Him a new song and His praises in the congregation of His saint. The choir ushers the congregation into the presence of God with songs of worship & praise at every church meetings. God loves worship. The choir members are committed and dedicated as they understand that worship brings intimacy with our creator God. It is a lifestyle in a believer’s life and it demands total focus and surrender. The choir therefore meets regularly to rehearse and pray for perfection.
  • Defragmentation Youth Meetings held on Saturdays 1pm-3pm. The Youth group meets regularly. They are encouraged to take part in various activities such as drama, dancing, sports, engaging in the study of the scriptures and organized bible quizzes etc. This improves their confidence, self-esteem and prepares them into adulthood through career advice, which will enable them to make informed choices with their lives grounded in Christ.
  • My Space: This is ministry that offers advice, mentorship & therapeutic counselling to individuals or family units that are in need. The counselling and support provided is founded in the word of God. Referrals are also in place according to various needs. People are supported in identifying and addressing their situations and by the grace of God they are set on their journey to healing and restoration so as to achieve their purposes as God intended for them. Roman 15:14: 1 Thessalonians 5:14: Isaiah 35:3
  • House Fellowships: Meetings on Tuesdays 8pm to 8:30pm. We meet face to face or online Zoom to support, encourage, pray, teach, welfare and share Jesus love amongst the fellowship. We all in the fellowship centre unit reach out into our immediate community to engage with social activities.
  • House fellowship is the first unit of care which offer love, care, sharing and foster communal living just like a family. This fellowship is held in members’ homes, (new and old members) weekly or 2-weekly to encourage ourselves in the Lord and foster Christian growth. Also it creates an opportunity to walk with God and establish an outlet to serve God and one another. (Acts 2:46, 5:42, 20:20).

House fellowship creates a sense of micro-membership among the people, (new and old believers) which enhances growth. It also breeds unity in the church and makes neighbourhood evangelism easier. Another major reason for house fellowship is that it helps to follow up new believers and to encourage them.

  • Destiny: A compassionate ministry working with families or individuals who currently are undergoing domestic abuse as well as those who have been in abusive situation in the past but are still traumatised. We also work with women and girls who are in prostitution, largely through no fault of their own but are driven by circumstances beyond their control.

As we work with these individual/families, we share the love of God and are supported according to their various needs. The weekly or monthly meetings are held mostly to review the progress of the individual and the work done with the stakeholders and partnering organisations.  Jesus came to set the captives free. Isaiah 35:3 ‘Destiny’ is in the heart of our Heavenly Father to see the oppressed set free and the feeble strengthened. Every person is a treasure in the eyes God. Isaiah 35:3

This encourages a lot of youth especially whose calling is in worship ministry as it also gives them a platform to network and exercise their gift in the kingdom service.

Such events capture a lot of people who might otherwise be non-believers or unchurched believers in the communities. This is another way of open evangelising that has seen many souls give their life to Jesus.
  • Leaders Camping/Retreat: Leaders have breakaway time when they go to a secluded place for a corporate prayer and fasting.
