WORSHIP

Praise in the City: This is a citywide gathering of people that cut across all cultures, race, gender and provide a platform for interdenominational worship of God. The motivation is to gather together to lift up Jesus in the city so that He will come down in the city, touch the heart of everyone and draw all the people to Himself.

Shout to the Lord Choir: The Amazing Grace Christian Centre Choir. A team of committed members using their gifts to lead worship at all church meetings. The team gather weekly to rehearse and pray towards every church meeting. This team include singers and musicians.

Media and Technical: They are a combined team of dedicated members volunteered to offer their professional skills in the service unto God. The team arrive at every church meeting very early to organise and set up the music instruments, conduct sound checks, set up the cameras both for the face to face and I-church and ensure the overall set-up enhance quality worship service outcome.

EVANGELISM

House of House Fellowship: House fellowship is the first unit of care which offer love, care, sharing and foster communal living just like a family. This fellowship is held in members’ homes, (new and old members) weekly or monthly to encourage ourselves in the Lord and foster Christian growth. Also it creates an opportunity to walk with God and establish an outlet to serve God and one another. (Acts 2:46, 5:42, 20:20).

House fellowship creates a sense of micro-membership among the people, (new and old believers) which enhances growth. It also breeds unity in the church and makes neighbourhood evangelism easier. Another major reason for house fellowship is that it helps to follow up new believers and to encourage them.

Come and See Evangelism: Evangelism is the commitment of publicly preaching the Gospel with the intention to share and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ (Psalm 105:1). One of the major aims of Evangelism is to lead people to Jesus. We want to see people move from darkness to light not from one church to another church. Evangelism is for the lost souls to be truly converted to Christ, so that their faith and trust is completely in Christ.

Evangelism is designed for the church and the church is designed for evangelism. That’s why as a healthy church with culture of evangelism; the evangelism team goes out twice a month to reach out to the lost soul (Isaiah 6:8).

GLOBAL MISSION

Along-side our mission to ‘Watch Pray Preach’, we extend the love of Jesus Christ through global mission by preaching the gospel of Salvation, healing and deliverance to all nations, by providing global humanitarian aid, clothe the poor, feed the hungry, minister to the elderly, widows and orphans as well as prison visitation. Our aim is to reach out to people worldwide through every available media to communicate the gospel of love. Acts 1:8

Be part of our global mission to help us reach and support the needs of those in the global communities as we share the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ according to His great commission. Matthew 28:18-19

Jesus in the City Crusade: This is an atmosphere created to connect a large number of people to Jesus through the preaching of the gospel of Salvation, Healing and Deliverance. There is a common goal for all believers: (Pastors, Evangelists, Reverends, Bishops, etc) which is to win souls to the kingdom of God and the only way to accomplish that goal is to continue to preach the gospel. Citywide crusade is one of the major ways to accomplish the word of God in the book of Matthew 24:14.

City Crusade can be held many times annually and in a place where people, (mainly the unbelievers) can easily connect to Jesus. For example; city centre, central pack and other public places but at the same time respecting and abiding with the law of the land (Romans 13:1-2).

City to City Church Planting: Church planting is a process that results in a new Christian church being established (Matthew 13:33). Church planting is the most crucial strategy for the numerical growth of the body of Christ in the city and continual corporate renewal and revival of the existing churches in a city or nation (Luke 14:23).

In order to Watch, Pray and Preach, there is a need for church planting, which is the major reason we are constantly working on establishing different branches and platforms to reach out to the lost souls (Luke 15:1-10)

PRAYER

Hour of Victory:This is a time we declare our victory in the place of pray. A three-hour marathon prayer session is organised and offered on behalf of our families, global church, leaders both in government and in the church, communities, nations. Last Friday of the Month between 7pm to 10pm is designated for “Hour of Victory”. You cannot afford to miss such a moment with the LORD.

Women prayer Congress: Was initiated by Revd. Eunice Ransome-Kuti with about 9 Pastors wives and 4 Female Ministers in attendance. WPC has since grown with over 250 Members across the Globe. WPC‘s goal is to bring together female Pastors, Ministers, Pastors’ wives and all other women to meet quarterly and pray for their ministries and the world at large.

As female ministers and leaders, our vision is to pray for the pastor’s minister’s leader’s children and churches to effect the purpose of God through the manifestation of God’s power to the saving of souls. This will in turn impact every individual child of God to pray without ceasing and to ignite the fire on the altar.

We provide Christian-based support and encouragement to all female pastors, leaders and women ministers through prayer to achieve their God mandated goals. Through Prayers, pastoral and therapeutic Counselling we try to meet the emotional and spiritual needs to the female leaders, pastors and ministers who are going through or have been through challenges in ministry. The WPC support, encourage and prompt all female pastors, ministers, leaders, and women to take their rightful position through prayer in order to affect the nation, churches, Leaders and children positively, and in the will of God. We also host breakfast conferences on topical issues, leadership meetings through the Journal of the Pastors’ wives.

We believe in Psalm 11 verse 3, and in the word of God, the Bible as the final Word of God and authority in faith and life. We believe in the trinity, God the father son and the Holy Spirit. We also believe that Christ is coming back. See details of our meetings times at the different chapters.

WPC has different chapters around the Globe, Africa- Nigeria and Kenya, Dubai, Wakefield (UK) and its headquarters in UK (Leeds)

Sling and Sword Prayer House: This is the Church Intercessory ministry. Intercessory prayers are offered as the act of standing in the gap and praying for others. The Lord instructed us to pray and make intercession for all men. 1 Tim 2:1-6

We pray and make intercession for nations, the Church – the body of Christ, Church and Government leaders, families, Children etc. When we intercede for others, divine breakthroughs and testimonies have been our feedback as God continues to answer prayers.

Jesus Christ made intercession for His disciples and for the Church that they may be one. John 17. As we obey and communicate with our maker, Jesus also continues to make intercessory prayer for us at the right hand of God our Father. Romans 8:34

GOD IS GOOD

Destiny: (Preserved for Greater Purpose)

Working with people, (families & children) who are going through Domestic violence and Abuse. Working with women and young girls who are into prostitution due to no fault of their own.

We create awareness to the people in abusive marriages, relationships and encouraged them to identify the signs, causes of the abuse whether emotional, physical, sexual, etc. We encourage and support them to seek help: Holistic, Physical health, mental health, Spiritual and Counselling by signposting everyone according to their various needs.

Above all, we educate them to know that they are not alone on their journey; we share the love of Jesus Christ with them and let them know God created and preserved them for a greater purpose. Our ultimate desire is to see everyone’s life turnaround and their divine destinies fulfilled to the glory of God. Also, Professional Counselling is offered accordingly while Privacy and Confidentiality is highly valued.

My Space: Just as the name sounds, it is a safe place where you can open up and talk, shout, cry, scream and discuss just because it is your space.

How we deliver – We use varied therapeutic counselling models to meet needs as suited to individuals.

We have experienced and trained therapeutic counsellors available to provide one to one counselling, group counselling and counselling to faith led organisations. My Space also offers bereavement counselling and Wellbeing support to those who are experiencing emotional trauma. Proverbs 20 verse 5: The purpose in a man’s heart is like deep water, but a man of understanding will draw it out.

Total Family: Total family caters for the unmet needs within the individual families as we believe that each family are unique. We offer Parenting classes to families, support with Resources to meet any identified needs. This is the opportunity to develop families to unlock their potentials.

Total family also support children who have witnessed Domestic Abuse, FGM and exploited. We also provide training and create awareness for parents around the impact of FGM and exploitation. Trained qualified therapeutic counsellors are also available to support children and families when identified and needed.

Expectant and Aspiring Mothers: Genesis 1:28 God blessed them and said to them, ‘Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it…’

At TAGCC special care is given particularly to young expectant and aspiring mothers. The word of God instructs the older women to teach and give counsel to the younger ones concerning building up families in Godly ways.

TAGCC is compliant with the government legislation on safeguarding, risk assessment and all necessary policies ensuring safety for the pregnant and young mothers as well as their babies and children. We understand that children are gifts from God. Always grateful to God for the gift of families and the increase according to His covenant.

GROUPS

Men of Honour: We are men of honour. A group focused on bringing men together and helping them reclaim their divine mandate, which was lost in Eden. God always seek for a man anytime he wants to execute his purpose on earth. Adam the first man was created with God’s mandate. The 12-apostles was recruited first to run with the message of the kingdom. These are pointer passages in the scripture for every male to understand that his role either as a father or man is to receive divine attention in doing Kingdom service.

This group seeks to call forth “the man” in every man to arise and take up his place and role in the original plan of God to provide leadership, protection and support to his wife, children, community and his nation at large. The group provides follow-up and visitation programme to every member from time to time. We meet every first Saturday of the month by 12-2pm at mission office. Women of Power: All Christian ladies need time to get-together with many other Christian ladies just to have a very good enjoyable time of fellowship. This group help to unite amongst church members, inter-churches. It helps to grow churches, train the young, honour the old and build the society. The church benefit when women unite together.

God uses women to do some significant things, we can see how God used Mary (Matthew 1;18) to change the world through the birth of our lord Jesus and also the story of Esther in the bible. So even in church, we encourage women working together to perfect the work of our lord Jesus. The major aim is to reach out to the lost souls and connect to the whole world to Jesus. God has the same purpose for both men and women, (men are the pillar while women are the beauty of the church). Women were asked to be silence in the church, 1 Tim. 2: 9-15. But Paul addressed this issue of women to keep silence in the church because of disorderliness and confusion caused by women in the Corinthians church. (1 Cor. 14:34)

Nonetheless, God did not command women to be silent in the bible as God specified in the book of Joel. 2: 28-29. He promise to pour out His spirit upon all flesh. Therefore by this scripture in Joel, we believe that, if a woman maintain a godly lifestyle with every good work and dignity she should be allowed to minister in the church and use her gift to edify members of the body of Christ.

Women played a very key roles in Jesus earthly ministry even at the resurrection. Therefore women are encouraged to come together, be equipped, empowered and must be given platform to express their gifting and engage in God’s service by the Holy Spirit. Eg: Mary the mother of Jesus was a good and godly woman. Luke 1:16-55. Mary Magdalene: She announced the resurrection of Jesus. John 20: 1-4, 5-10. Phebe: A deaconess who allowed her house to be used for church etc. Rom. 16:1

The Champions: This is the platform where our children are taught the word of God. They learn who God is and who they are in Christ, to love and respect others. As they learn they flourish in their God given talents and gifts. The children are divided into different age groups: o-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years & 10-15 years. They are supported and nurtured, taught and encouraged to study the scriptures for themselves and likewise parents are encouraged to do the same with their children. The Godly foundation prepares them ahead in life to succeed whether in school, college, or in future careers.

We is compliant with the Health & safety laws making sure that Safeguarding for children & risk assessment etc are all in place. All teachers are well trained and undergo the necessary DBS checks.

Defragmentation Jesus Centred: (Bringing young people together in Christ). Our goal is to gather people from all Tribes, Nation and Colour into one body of Jesus Christ to make an impact in the world. Defragmentation aims to provide an inclusive outreaching community cohesion where young people can develop Physically, Mentally, Emotionally, Spiritually through expression and relationship. A place where they feel they can cultivate a sense of purpose, direction, belonging and value. Platform to prepare young people to fulfil divine destiny.

BIBLE SCHOOL

A Bible college is referred to as a Bible institute of theological seminary, it is a Protestant Christian institute of higher education which prepare students for Christian ministry with theological education, biblical studies and practical ministry training.

Anyone who have given their life to Christ, with the intention of having more knowledge of the word of God, to be able to impact others. You can attend the school immediately after you are saved and have attended the classes available in your local church e.g. Sunday school, Believer class, Baptism class, worker in training etc.

You will learn how to read and interpret the Bible, not just for academic purpose, but in order to solidify your foundational beliefs as well as nourish your spiritual life. An example is our Sunday school and other church study group. This study teaches gives believers guidance about how they can live their lives in the way God would want them to.

The school is both for new believers and old believers. For the new believers, the school teaches them assurance of salvation the word of God, what they need to know as they are new convert to Christ. (1 Corinthians 3:1-2). For the old believers or those that are spiritually matured, they are taught the bible to become disciples of Jesus Christ, then grow to serve as church workers and leaders. (2 Timothy 2:15, Joshua 1:8). Also, everyone who are called by God into specific assignments are taught to know how to divide the word of truth and become vessels unto honour suitable for the master.

Discipleship: A process of deliberately following and learning to become like Jesus through obedience to the teachings of Jesus Christ in the Holy Scriptures. It is also a making process for everyone who believes in God through Jesus his son, to fit into God’s original plan and purpose for their lives.

“Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you…” (Matt 4:19) and “Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls (Matt 11:29).

“Come, follow me…” and “Take my yoke upon you…” suggests that personal willingness to relate with Jesus is the entering point into this training and for anyone to come to this age shows you are the willing type.

Training sections for new believers and older Christian is available every Sunday @ 10.30 to 11.10am; on Wednesday 9pm-10pm, and follow-up foundational classes. Training model is a master-apprentice relationship that enables everyone to engage interactively with someone more experienced or mature in faith. “Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ” (1 Corinthians 11:1). Wealth Creation

Wealth creation is the accumulation of assets (especially those that generate income) over a long period of time. Everyone on planet Earth is expected to create wealth, by setting aside some certain percentage of their income, just the same way Joseph advised Pharaoh to set aside five percent of all their farm product so that in day of famine he will still have something to sustain.

This is a holy calling and a God-given gift commanded in the Bible.

The Bible talks about wealth in three different ways; one is bad and two are good. Hoarding of wealth is condemned, Sharing of wealth is encouraged, but there is no wealth to be shared unless it has been created. Some major ways to create wealth in church are paying of tithes, offering, sowing seeds and giving generously. These ways are recognized in the Bible, (Leviticus 27:30, Proverbs 3:9, 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 and Genesis 26:12).

Creating wealth to advance the kingdom of God doesn’t have a time or date to be done, but it is now. God always show concern for the poor, so the only way we Christians can show the same concern is to create wealth and expand it to the poor.

Many people have always got it wrong when it comes to Christianity and wealth but we know that God is not opposed to money and wealth but He is opposed to wealth wrongfully gained and wrongful attitudes toward it. We should also know that wealth creation is good when it is done in God’s way and to glory God.

Sunday School

A Platform for everyone to engage with the scripture interactively with a teacher and other students. Here we teach, instruct and share experience from the word of God. This is done via deep searching of the scripture. Student-focused teaching model is used to make for maximum participation in classes for everyone. Every class after the teaching section is meant to share and feedback into the large congregation. Classes begin every Sunday by 10.30 to 11.10am.

We believe no one is a custodian of God’s word, we can learn from one another. “Study to shrew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needed not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15) is the instruction. So, looking forward to learning together with you as bible students here in Sunday School every Sunday.
