GIVING
OFFERING: Free offering depends on individuals as led by the Holy Spirit. This freewill offerings are always given by believers during church meetings as a form of worship to God. Offering can be in form of your time, substance in physical material, finances, etc. purposely to carry out a service to God and others. Scriptures encourages giving. ‘To whom much is given, much is expected. Give and it shall be given back to you, good measure…..’Luke 6:38: Luke 12:48; Acts 20:25
Such funds are used to run the church and the work of ministry.
TITHE: Tithe is 10% of one’s personal income set apart for the support of the church which can be used towards the up-keep of Pastors, Ministers, workers, orphans, widows, the elderly in the church and for the church maintenance.
Malachi 3: 10 say to …’Bring ye all the tithe into the storehouse, that there may be meat in my house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of host, if I will not open the windows of heaven…’
The act of tithing is taught and encouraged by the church. Obedience to tithing is beneficial to the tithers as God Himself rebukes the devourer in their lives so that they can enjoy the fruit of their labour. Malachi 3:11
KINGDOM PARTNERS: (PARTNERSHIP) God desires for men and women who will partner with Him in advancing His kingdom purpose here on earth. Kingdom partners are committed to the furtherance of the work of God the Father as led by the Holy Spirit. Acts 4:32-37: We reverence with God’s pattern for His kingdom. Hebrew 3:4
By partnering with us through your prayers and financial support, we can move mountains that hinder communities & regions from accepting and enjoying the message of Jesus Christ.
VOLUNTARY DONATIONS: This is an act performed or brought about by free choice, willingly or without being asked. This is always carried out outside church meetings and can be given by believers and non-believers When we speaks about donations to the house of God, many of us our minds goes to financial donations but we always forget what the Lord said in Matthew 25:35, Proverbs 19:17 and Isaiah 58:10.
Donating financially to do the work of the kingdom is not wrong for we know it is also a way to create wealth to help others. We also need to know there are many other things you can donate voluntarily to promote the kingdom of God, one of it is your time, (using it for the kingdom work).
SPONSORSHIP
SPECIAL INITIATIVES: Whilst we focus on spiritual maturity of the new man in Christ, striking a balance between spiritual, physical and social wellbeing is never neglected in TAGCC. “Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well” (3 John 2). With this understanding, TAGCC have some special initiatives to empower individuals, (Young/old) living in depraved communities (or low-resources settings) to increase control over their life and wellbeing.
Our special initiatives include, but not limited to;
(1) Getting our kids off the street to school campaign, (assist in making education attractive to kids by providing accommodation; books and e-library, etc.)
(2) Supporting lives in Slum, (raising skill acquisition centres to empower the youths)
(3) Eye care Medical outreaches, (offering medical assessment/treatment of minor eye problems while supporting referral to local hospital for major cases)
(4) Connecting with the Homeless, (providing material, emotional and counselling support to homeless).
Our initiatives are open for sponsorship from private organisations, companies, government agencies and well-meaning individuals.
SPECIAL PROJECTS: We are committed in changing lives and passionate to see people’s live happy and enjoy their liberty serving God regardless of race, ethnicity, colour or background.
“When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd”. (Matt 9:36). This is true in our current day society. There are many vulnerable people out there in our communities who feel rejected, dejected and confused waiting to be helped and comforted.
We have project seeking for sponsorship to enable us reach to such individuals which includ“Home for the Abused” (supporting e.g. victims of rapes, domestic violence, prostitution victims, homeless, etc.)
